Description

Ro is a traditional fishing way of fishermen in Thu Bon river of Hoi An ancient town, Quang Nam province, Vietnam. This work takes place during the dry season, from January to August. The huge net is lowed under the water level, then use light of bub to attract fish. Several hours later, he raises net up and sails a small boat underneath to collect fishery. A night of work begins from sunset to sunrise next morning with several times of sleep and wake up. In favorable nights, fishermen can earn $9 in wages.
