Across Vietnam Photography Workshop
Across Vietnam is a 10-day small-group photography workshop from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City, built around daily shooting, hands-on learning, and direct feedback. We photograph traditional crafts, village life, historic cities, people, wildlife, fishing communities, and coastal landscapes as we travel from North to South.
Limited to six attendees and personally led by Tran Tuan Viet, the workshop combines intensive field photography with two dedicated image review sessions. The goal is simple: photograph every day, make stronger creative decisions in the field, and leave with better images and a clearer approach to your photography.

This was an intense but very rewarding photography tour. The itinerary gave me a much deeper view of Vietnam than I could have arranged on my own, from village scenes and traditional crafts to coastal landscapes, fishermen, and local life. June was warm, so the early starts made sense and often gave us the best light. Viet was attentive, practical, and generous with his knowledge throughout the trip ❤️

A very comprehensive photography journey across Vietnam, with a good balance of cultural subjects, coastal life, portraits, and landscapes. June was hot in several places, especially in central Vietnam, but the early starts and carefully planned sessions helped us work in better light. I particularly enjoyed Hue, Hoi An, Phu Yen, and the salt field scenes. Thank you, Viet, for your patience, guidance, and for organizing access to so many distinctive locations.

We joined this tour hoping to see a wide range of Vietnam, and it delivered a strong mix of landscapes, culture, portraits, and daily life. The route covered a lot of ground, from Hanoi’s craft villages to Hue, Hoi An, the central coast, salt fields, and sand dunes. Some travel days were long, but the schedule was clearly built around photography. Thank you, Viet, for your guidance and for making the logistics feel easy!
