Hanoi Autumn Photography Workshop
Join us for a 7-day autumn photography workshop exploring Hanoi and the surrounding Red River Delta, a region rich in culture, rural landscapes, traditional communities, and everyday life. Designed for photographers of all levels, the workshop combines carefully timed photography sessions with practical guidance in the field, creating a balanced experience of travel, observation, and creative development.
Autumn is one of the most rewarding seasons for photography around Hanoi, with softer light, cooler weather, seasonal color, and atmospheric mornings. Throughout the journey, you will work across landscape, street, cultural, portrait, and environmental portrait photography while refining composition, visual storytelling, timing, and field techniques in a wide range of real-world conditions.

Itinerary
After checking into our five-star hotel, we begin with the colors, patterns, and artisans of an incense village before photographing Hanoi's train street in the late afternoon. We finish with a welcome dinner in the city.
We spend the day with traditional artisans, beginning at a soy sauce village before continuing to a bamboo fishing trap village. Our photography focuses on people at work, environmental portraits, details, and natural light.
Sunrise takes us to waterlily fields outside Hanoi, photographing farmers at work among the flowers. Later, we photograph traditional net sewing before ending the day with the colors and movement of a water puppet performance.
We begin with sedge harvesting and traditional net sewing before traveling to Ninh Binh. In the afternoon, limestone karsts, waterways, fields, and rural life introduce us to one of northern Vietnam's most distinctive landscapes.
We explore Ninh Binh from sunrise to sunset, photographing waterways, waterlilies, Bich Dong Pagoda, birdlife, and the surrounding limestone landscape from both water level and elevated viewpoints.
Morning begins among the waterways and limestone peaks of Trang An before we continue to Duong Lam Ancient Village for traditional architecture, village life, environmental portraits, and quiet moments along its old lanes.
Our final sunrise is among the rolling tea hills of Long Coc, followed by time photographing local communities and everyday life in Phu Tho. We then return to Noi Bai International Airport, arriving at approximately 12:00 p.m.
