What to Expect During This Photography Workshop
Gain total confidence in any shooting environment. We demystify the exposure triangle—aperture, shutter speed, and ISO—through practical application, allowing you to transition from technical stress to creative intentionality.
Go beyond the single frame. Learn to identify "the decisive moment" and sequence images to tell a compelling story. We focus on theme development, cinematic depth, and capturing the authentic soul of a location through a cohesive photo essay.
Learn to document both natural wonders and human connection. We’ll explore techniques for harnessing ambient light, identifying flattering angles, and capturing authentic, emotive portraits within their natural surroundings.
Capture the grandeur of misty peaks and golden sunrises. Master the art of balanced composition by utilizing foreground interest, leading lines, and atmospheric depth to maximize the impact of shifting natural light.
Unlock breathtaking viewpoints from above. With professional guidance and pre-arranged flight permits where required, you will learn safe piloting practices and specialized aerial composition to create striking high-angle imagery.
Refine your vision through constructive, peer-led feedback. We’ll walk through a professional editing workflow to optimize tonal balance, color theory, and mood, ensuring your final images remain natural yet impactful.

I’ll be departing back to the U.S in a few hours. After some days and some thoughts, I’ve decided to write a review of the tour.
First and foremost, thank you to Viet for offering this opportunity for the public and for people who wants to experience the beautiful country of Vietnam through the lens of a camera. I’ve been thinking about this tour for quite some time now and finally made it happen. I couldn’t asked for anyone better than Viet with this tour. He met my expectations with his knowledge and expertise.
Pros: From the timeline to the itinerary, the tour was exactly how it was planned out. I like how it was organized and planned accordingly. I felt like it was not rushed. We had time before and after our photoshoot. During our photoshoot, we spent enough time at the scene to get what we wanted. Viet is an experienced photographer who was willing to help and advise when needed.
Cons: As things come with some positive, there’s always some negative. With that said, I felt like our resort in Mu Cang Chai was too far away from our photo spots. While the hotel was nice, we don’t spend a lot of time there and I felt like staying at a closer hotel would be more suitable even if we had to stay at a lower rated place or pay more for a top rated place. Also, I would like to try different restaurants each day when we were in Mu Cang Chai.
Overall, it was a great experience. It was worth every penny spent and more. The biggest gain from this tour was the friendship I’ve made. I had an amazing time with Viet, Leo, and Sabine. All who contribute and helped me on this chapter in my photography journey. You all inspired me to become better. This photography tour and experience holds a special place in my heart as it’s my first time doing a solo trip and a photography tour. I would recommend this tour for any photographer of all levels. I can’t thank everyone enough and the memories will always live with me for the rest of my life. Thank you Viet, and thank you Leo and Sabine. I wish the best for you all. Until next time, and keep posting your artwork ❤️❤️❤️
