Welcome to Vietnam! Our journey begins with an afternoon photography session at the incense village, where we capture its rich colors and cultural charm. After an inspiring shoot, we head into town for a welcome dinner, getting to know each other over delicious local cuisine and toasting to the adventure ahead.
We start the day exploring Hanoi’s captivating Ceramic Road, where the morning light illuminates intricate tiles that tell stories of artistry and tradition. As the day unfolds, our photography group moves to Duong Lam ancient village, a living testament to Vietnam’s rich heritage. Our first stop is the centuries-old village of Duong Lam, a well-preserved settlement that offers a glimpse into traditional northern Vietnamese architecture and way of life. The ancient houses, narrow alleyways, and local life here provide countless opportunities for capturing authentic moments and textures.
In the afternoon, we immerse ourselves in the daily rhythm of village life—walking through narrow lanes lined with historic homes, meeting locals, and capturing the timeless charm that defines Duong Lam. From the vibrant urban artistry of Hanoi to the serene authenticity of the countryside, our cameras will craft a visual narrative that reflects the heart and soul of Vietnam.
Our morning begins in a traditional soy sauce village, where we document the intricate process of crafting this culinary staple. Through our lenses, we capture the dedication of artisans preserving a tradition passed down for generations. In the afternoon, we shift our focus to a bamboo fishing trap village, a testament to the ingenuity and craftsmanship of the local people.
We watch and photograph skilled hands weaving intricate traps, each frame preserving the balance between tradition and resourcefulness. From the deep flavors of soy sauce to the artistry of bamboo craftsmanship, today’s journey offers a deeper connection to the culture and livelihoods of these vibrant Vietnamese villages.
Leaving the vibrant city of Hanoi behind, our photography group sets off on an immersive cultural and visual journey. After a thorough photo walk and cultural exploration in Tam Chuc pagoda of Ha Nam, we continue our drive southward toward the scenic province of Ninh Binh. Once there, we explore the dramatic limestone karst landscapes, lush rice fields, and historical temples that earned the area its designation as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The afternoon light casts a golden hue over the landscape, creating ideal conditions for landscape and cultural photography.
Early in the morning, our photography group rises to capture the serene beauty of Tam Coc valley, where limestone mountains cradle gentle waterways adorned with blooming waterlilies. The soft mist of dawn and reflections on the water create a magical atmosphere, perfect for evocative landscape shots. After breakfast, we begin our long but rewarding journey northwest toward Mu Cang Chai, one of Vietnam’s most iconic destinations for landscape photography. Along the way, we witness the countryside shift from lowland paddies to dramatic mountain terrain, offering countless spontaneous photo opportunities.
Following your exploration of the serene landscapes of Tam Coc, you will have the distinct opportunity to photograph the ancient and picturesque Bich Dong Pagoda, a captivating testament to Vietnamese history and architecture nestled amidst striking natural beauty.
Early in the morning, we capture Hang Mua’s panoramic views unfold in breathtaking layers of limestone peaks and lush greenery. The lotus ponds surrounding the foot of the mountain add an extra layer of visual poetry to our frames.
Our afternoon is spent to move to Long Coc, where we start explore the infinite tea hills.
We greet the morning with a breathtaking sunrise over Long Coc tea hills, where golden light cascades over rolling landscapes. As we capture the serene beauty of the hills, we also turn our lenses to the ethnic communities of Phu Tho, preserving moments of their daily lives and cultural traditions.
After this final visual journey, we return to Noi Bai International Airport, arriving by 2 p.m. Whether extending your stay to explore more of Northern Vietnam or heading home, our photographs will serve as lasting memories of the landscapes explored and the cultural stories captured during this enriching photographic adventure.
